The Vette won A national Top Flight

Most of you has seen pics of the 61 Vette I have been building Well I finished it June 5 and it won A top flight award 95.1 at A chapter event in Ohio on the 6th . Then I did a little more work to it ant it Top flighted agian 95.9 at the regionals in PA .
So I did A little more work to it and took it to the Nationals in St Charles Mo where it just recieved A 97.5 Top Flight now making it eligble to go after the Duntof award .Heres my ugly mug & the car at the nationals taken on the 25th after winning and Yes I do look tired dont I

8) 8) !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are ya gonna be at the Cruise-in-By-the-Bay on Aug. 29th-30th???? That car looks familiar. Ever been to Sandusky or Norwalk Ohio???

That's fantastic! D@mn, that Vette is something sweet. I've heard that the judging for those events is brutal !
Just curious, Donn.....are your eyes even open for the photo???? :lol: I've heard that you've been putting in some killer hours. :(

Nice job, you deserve it and it shows, the car is awesome, I'am very proud to say you are my freind, not only in your craftsmen ship but your ability to handle peaple, you are a outstanding gentleman and true craftsman, my hat's off to you, and your's, take care and we will be in touch soon. Now there is a classy car!
By far, the nicest 61 Corvette I have ever seen!
Outstanding workmanship there. For those of you out there not familiar with Corvette judging, it is grueling.
NCRS is the "Best of the Best" when it comes to knowing every part on an original and restored Corvette.

To win a Top Flight award is great, but to achieve this feat wire to wire - Chapter, Regional and National
is an accomplishment not like any other. I commend you on your efforts and hope you get the Duntof.

My shop I had in Fla was called Motion Specialties But I did own the Bill Thomas Novacaine Which to me was just as nice .

Hey Carl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, LOL....
remember last year when we were talkin on the phone and i saw a Nova , with the word "Novacaine" on it?..and you said as far as ya knew there was only one "Novacaine"? . i just now saw this pic, and believe it or not, it is not the same car i saw. If i can find the pic of the one i saw, i will try to get it posted for ya...wow, lol,!
