News of Show us what ya got

Ok, so for the last time at KCIR I thew a combo together. Stock 302 shortblock out of a '89 with 120k on it. My Canfield heads, and a Trick Flow #3 cam. 11.63@113. I had the rev limiter chips in the wrong spot and would'nt go above 6500 on that pass but the car got slower as it stated losing oil pressure. Anyway, had fun and glad I went. It has no power adders.

After changing jobs just over a year ago, my wife gave me a new challenge: Sell the house. My boss was moving and after looking at his listing, she found a different house near us that she really liked. It's newer and in better shape than ours, and has a better layout too. After fuguring out what windows, roof, carpet, and other crap would cost in the next couple years, I figured it was cheaper ...

This last September, MRG Tool & Die,( where I work ) held it's annual "Drive your toy to work" day. Customers and friends are encouraged to drive or ride or bring their car,truck,motorcycle, or whatever, to MRG for a lunch that we host. We cook out on a couple of large grills ( one of which is made from the front end of an old Studebaker ), have a "chow-line", and set-up tables and chairs ...

My grandson Trent 3 years old entered his first car show at a church last week end with his blown 2010 Camaro.
He won Pastors choice. How cool is that. :D

a little something i picked up today for the farm truck..this is the farm truck

after my dad passed away i got the black s10 back that we call the farm truck. i already had the tubbed s10 so i couldnt afford to have 2 to sink money into.. so my i gave my brother in law the motor and trans out of the tubbed truck to put into a 91 camaro he bought.. so far we got his motor and tranns pulled, got him a 4" cowl hood, and ...

qtrmile2 had ask for some pic's of our 34 plymouth. I figured I would turn off the 8-track and learn how to picture post,lol. Sorry it took so long qtrmile2.
When I try to upload it says something of mine is to big, hum. It peaked Carl, lol. I will do a cut and paste maybe.
And yes, it is a daily driver.

A little late, but I made it up and got a class win in the Corvette '84 up Street Class. Super Chevy gave out a nice plaque and jacket to the class winners. It was a great weekend, lot's of cars, drag racing and a great show.

It was raining off and on most of the morning. I got to take shelter under the GM Performance tent next to the very first Buick Grand National ever built,..#001. After the skys cleared, it was a cooker, and the beer tasted pretty d@mn good! Found plenty of cars I wanted,...just not enough room in the garage! :lol:
