I just got done working 82 hrs in 7 days and off untill monday, started pulling the motor out of my wifes 67 short bed
its a 327 with camel hump heads, but it has a small, small cam, so I am putting my old 355 in her so the wife can go a lil faster this yr, and might go to yakima and watch my friend test and tune his new motor in his cam and eat a big minor burger , then sunday do the motor swap. THATS MY PLAN

Well, gotta work 7-4 on Saturday at the parts store, then gonna go to the other job on Sunday to paint some tractor parts for a co-worker. After that I'm gonna order the rebuild kit for the 400 (then drink a beer! )

Ok, we are putting on the new upper and lower control arms, springs, spindles, brakes and trying to get the front end completely done.

LOL, we have (or thought) one side done but we forgot the backing plate so it comes apart again, thankfully it was just set in and nothing tightened down.

LOL, we have (or thought) one side done but we forgot the backing plate so it comes apart again, thankfully it was just set in and nothing tightened down.

I will go in the garage later and try to get the cam, timing set, and cover on tonight, and paint a few things. Tomorrow I'll wake up early with the kids and play for a while and go get some fresh donuts. Not sure what the wife has planned for me yet, so we'll see about that. I am shooting to have my engine ready to crank up by the end of the weekend. The kids and wife are off all next week, so we may try to get outta here for a day or two. I am thinking of surprising them with a little day or overnight trip somewhere.

Noooooooo no drinking here....and didn't smoke anything either

we worked on getting all the fuel system ran on the orange s10 saturday. today im going to be working on getting all the NOS stuff ran. get the intake drilled and the fogger nozzles put in the intake. john is going to start the wiring.

Well, How about what I did this week end. I just sat down and turned the computer on. This week end I got the golf cart ready. Changed oil, filters and spark plugs. Waxed and loaded it in the trailer. Tim and Garret washed and waxed the 67 Camaro. Loaded it in the trailer, Todd loaded his Firebird on the trailer to get the front end aligned Monday. I wash the trailer and the RV. Deb cleaned the inside of the RV and loaded it with everything like paper plates salt and peper, napkins etc , etc.
We are planning to go Tuesday night to test the cars. Monday I'm gunna make some air cleaners for Todd's split dominators so he can go Tueday night. His hood is not in yet. I'll finish up the RV Monday night.

I went to the S10 Supernationials in Holt, Florida. 800 mile round trip, but worth it, lol...

well I got the 355 in the 67 truck for my wife today, its not ready to start, but not much left, damn I am tired ready to go to work so I can have a break
