Nice Douglas.

Like Vince, will you have it ready and race at all this season?
I'd love to see it back in action.

Well it was running and ran great all that i excepted except for alum showing up in oil at heads, back apart it came. Found main one and two oil ports plugged up with steel and cast iron chips, I paid for cleaning for assy and even looked over block my self were the stuff was hidding is beyond me but it collected into the oil galley and bounced around beween mains and crank oil galley eating away at the bearings. rear main and #4 were never hurt. Put about 1 hour running time on motor and
then started tearing it apart. Dam it never trust anyone with with your motor for any dam thing. Long hours at work afew hours at a time al my bad i guess. No real damage polish crank new bearing a good cleaning job by me and back together again. NEVER TO CLEAN basics #1 and i fucked up. But everything else was just TITS. Turnings came from line boring job steel mains and cast iron block material same guy was paid to wash block for assy. All the plugs were pulled out there was some dam corner it was hidding. My bad.

Well i did get it out wed and got to make only one pass my porting got me into trouble got to thin in #6 cylinder exh port and it finally burn thur and pissed water into cylinder during the run and foulded out plug i put in a 6500 rev chip so my big foot wouldnt over rev it for afew break in runs but i made a nice pass on seven 10.70 at 128 mph easy enough to braze up and fix its apart and head is ready to braze. Hopefully ill get it back out again soon and pull the 6500 chip out. Steel mains and bottom end seems fine except for water in oil. AHHHHHHH back at it lol. And thats the reason i bought a sonic tester about a 1/16 x 1/8 hole burn thur http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/s ... 010007.mp4
