Howdy, Folks. WildcatOne here. Thanks, Carl, for this cool deal! And thanks, Barb, for pointing me to this great site. Let's see. Here's the latest stuff I've done, uh, like I'll hang back on the golf cart deal and show the collage I made from October 25th's Phantom Kruisers' ride to Fayetteville, Texas and back. It's hard for me to remember what I've been doing, to tell you the truth. I run through several projects a day sometimes, it's like playing in the band...people ask me where have you been playing? And I go...uh...everywhere, I think...it's like a merry-go-round. Anyway, I'll open this section with the collage, followed by the DragList.com 2010 calendar. Enjoy! And thanks again, Carl! WC1
PS: These graphics were made in Adobe Photoshop.

Here is the Car of the Month from Pee Wee's website. I do a car every month and put it in a magazine cover context, it turned out to be a big plus for the band and the car guys love it...I think I have more fun with this than anything.
Just about everything I do is Photoshop now...I started out drawing everything then running it through Photoshop, but I said wait a minute...I can achieve the same results with photos...but I will post some drawings that I made in Macromedia FreeHand. Cheers, WC1

Here's some stuff I drew. I did this Pro Mod Malibu wagon for a friend who had a stocker that she was racing in 2003. A buddy of mine tipped me off that Knockout Talent in San Diego was looking for a graphics guy. I sent them the Malibu picture and got the gig on the spot. That lasted about a year and a half...great guys but I didn't get much of anything but exposure. I'll submit some stuff I did for them later. Below the Malibu is Mike's BelAir for a series of concepts that we developed back around 2004. These were drawn in Macromedia FreeHand. Cheers, WC1

The 65 Malibu was a fun project...Mike Casella had done some work on the picture and he posted it with the wheels to his BelAir on it...I took it from there and made a N/AA/FC out of it. I took "risks"...tried new ideas on lengthening, channeling, chopping the body, etc...here are the results. Photoshop is fun with this stuff...I had a heck of a time learning what I know how to do now, it took years with a lot of trial and error, I read the book twice...still don't understand what they're talking about...but I'm still learning on it and figuring out new methods and styles and ways to recreate stuff. If I could just do this all the time, I'd be the happiest Cat in the world.
1st, Mike's deal
2nd, the "studio shot"
3rd, the "action shot"
Cheers, WC1

I was looking through some folders and I found this...I thought I remembered doing some stuff for Avery a while back...you have a great ride, my friend...talk about a sleeper...wow...my file management sometimes leaves a little room for improvement, but there's this little devil standing on my shoulder whispering in my ear all the time: "Ah, what the heck...put it in that folder, man. It's all gonna be in your computer. You'll know where to look for it later..." ...among a lot of other things...It took almost a half an hour to find Carl's stuff...Cheers, WC1

Thanks...stuff comes in all the time, but I got one late last week that was fun. There's these folks called Drag Racing Underground up in New Jersey, John and Diana. They also have a band called Big Stick and they're friends with the band Type O Negative and others. They're great folks. Diana joined DragList and makes posts there usually every day. Well, she didn't have an avatar. We got to talking and she sent me this picture of her sitting on the hood of her T-Bird and asked me if I could make an avatar out of it. I said sure. She's known as Diana the Doc, celebrity drag racing authority and visionary. Her posts are very interesting, she has a lot to say and I always find them very enlightening. Anyway, I made the avatar and she approved it. I put in the rest of the grille and front end of the car by downloading a T-Bird from Google images and blending it together with the one in the picture. I also added a drag strip in the background. This was a fun project! Cheers, WC1
