COTM

I'd like to make a proposition if I could. Just gonna throw this out there, and see what comes of it.....

For our own unequivocally superlative and unparalelled COTMs, it would seem that we'd need the most badass artist to put these things of beauty into the most killer backdrop ever imaginable, of course. 8) :D

Perhaps this is something that we (well WC1 can put into action with the blessing of HMFC Carl.

It is totally up to you our members and WC1.

He is the Maestro and if he is willing then I am willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Lets see what he has to say and go from there.

What do you have in mind, JLK? I can put your hot rod in the Louvre Museum, the Smithsonian, blasting off the line at Indy (putting a holeshot on Mike Edwards...or Robert Hight), sitting on the edge of Niagra Falls, floating in space, etc. Let me know what you'd like to see...I'll fix it up. That great shot of the MLC was a straight-ahead photo by Susan...one of the best I've ever seen, my opinion...the whole picture looks great, all I did was put it in the template...Cheers, WC1

BTW, a major Photoshop flub was discovered today, the internet is all a-twitter about it. No biggie, but it backs up what I was saying that everything in print is Photoshopped...Cat

I thank you great folks for the compliments on the graphics. I had a very nice compliment come in today from a guy with a website company out in the Bay area. He saw my stuff and he said he's going to be sending work to me in March. I tellya, March can't get here soon enough!

I made a calendar today for HRT, it's got a lot of editing still to do but once all the data gets in we'll be off and running with it. Gotta get it finalized with Carl and make sure we're going in the same direction with it...I made each month individually and then one full page with all 12 months on it. Here's what I made for your page, Jake...

WC1,

All your stuff is sa-weeeeet, man!! I'm diggin' the calendar page. I guess maybe I was thinking that we could have one cool backdrop to put all of the COTMs in front of, with the site logo and promo or something...an old gas station with shopped signage and personalization...something along those lines.

Looks great, WoodStock, I will use it for the calendar. Thanks, WC1
BTW, here is the "prototype". I moved some cars around to get 'em in better contrasting position with the background colors.
It's still very much a work in progress. Spib, Bowtie, I got your messages, thanks...Spib, I really dig
your truck and I ask that you reconsider, but I will put another car in there if you like. George isn't on the calendar, for
this reason...the Car of the Month deal will have one set of cars, and the Calendar will have another. Some will be on both. Like mytmouz's
truck will be a Car of the Month and his Blazer will be on the calendar. George and the MLC are not on the Calendar
but they will be Cars of the Month, etc. DAWG's vette is on the Calendar and his Camaro will be a Car of the Month.
Rudy's Vette will be on both. Some will be on both. Clear as mud? You bet!

Anyway, to give y'all a calendar preview, here's what's going on as of yesterday...George has since been removed...Cheers, WC1
