I found it browsing the classified ads on TeamBuick.com. the moment I saw it I fell in love with it,and a few days later she was resting in my garage.it had been in storage from 1997,till I hauled her away Nov 21,2007.I'm only the 3rd owner. the only work I did to make her road ready was a tune up, fresh belts and hoses,a new master cylinder and 4 new tires. runs and rides like a big Buick should
it is 100% numbers matching,and the starter,carb,alternator,and distributor are the original ones it came with from the factory, verified by the date codes. still running the original color coded vacuum lines,and date coded plug wires. it turns heads when I drive it,and it gets many positive comments when I show it.
besides the usual options,it came with a couple rare options, a fuel usage gauge,and driver's door mirror, w/ a thermometer in the base. my plans for this winter is to do some cosmetic work in the engine bay (repaint engine, manifolds, other underhood items) fix a minor exhaust leak,and touch up some minor rock chips in the paint. otherwise it will be left as is (might add a set of Buick rally wheels IF I can find any (demo derby guys really use them up) sure aren't many of these around anymore, I also have a very large parts stash, courtesy of a demo derby friend(all I could grab, for FREE
