Oh yeah, the old WE8 option....... (sounding like I know what I'm talking about)

Funky looking intake on those-like a prehistoric TPI tpe deal right? They have 3.8L engines and you could even have AC.

Hey, if you need any part numbers looked up for it let me know. They're in my main GM computer catalog.

This is a stock motor in these cars. Notice no turbo...

This will be replacing the original motor hopefully soon in the left one...

Hey Bowtie, got a favor to ask you, since you work for GM.These cars were produced at the Doraville assembly plant in 1986. I have about 28 of the cars VIN numbers, but would kill to be able to find out the remainding cars vins so I can authenticate the remainder of the GS cars.Is there any way to get ahold of the daily car reports or vin list from Doraville Plant? Its a reach, but I want to try every avenue to get more info on these rare cars. I am trying to determine the time frame these were built in and so far its between 3/14/86 and 6/17/86. Any way you can find the Vin numbers?
My website for these cars is currently being built at
http://1986buickcenturygransport.freehosting.net/
As soon as I get some more info,I plan to eliminate the popups.

Sorry, I can't. Actually, I work for a dealer, but have been hooked into some different parts of the GM system for a few extra-curricular activities. About the best I can do for you is to break an individual VIN down (possibly including build date, etc) if you supplied one, but I can't do the opposite.
