Well, it sucked mostly. Combination of cold and cloudy, last weekend of the fair with the first good weather, and the opening day of several hunting seasons made for a small crowd and even smaller field. And to top it off, the vid guy bailed on us. Ended up racing for the money against another stepside LUV, 4 link chassis truck with a monster BBC and a few kits. I tried to leave before him, but the transbrake stuck for a couple of seconds, then it wouldn't shift into drive, so I got it handed to me. On the plus side, the NOS worked GREAT!

Sounds like your day was a mixed bag T.

The weather can be an unforgiving bitch when it comes to racing.
If you paid the vid guy hang him by the nads.
Having to postpone the first time had to have sucked.

But on the plus side of everything, you did your first promotion.
You got a lot of bugs worked out of the Luv.
You almost won and next years event will guarantee to be bigger and better.

Like I said I can help out and will make up some T's and be like a real sponsor for the event.
If you know when you want to have it and can reserve the track for sure for those dates, start advertising it early and often. That gets folks thinking more about your event and less about Mrs. Fleebags yard sale.

You did good T!!!!!!!!!!
